Howdy peeps, We've just moved from our house in suburbia of 15 years to a
country house on a few acres. It's surrounded by farmland with beef
cattle.
A tree change if you like, for my wife and our two dogs. The dogs are
Mitzy,
a 10 year old female ****zu x Maltese and Molly, an 18 month old Maltese -
both spayed.
Before we introduced the dogs to their new home, we erected a tem****ary
chicken wire fence to secure them from running away and/or attacking the
neighbors cows which can easily be seen. I'm really worried that they will
venture off our property onto the busy road out the front or into our
neighbors property and run amok with the cows where they could be hurt or
worse, shot.
I am very keen to get rid of the tem****ary fence and to feel comfortable
in
leaving them un-supervised.
What can I do to help them adjust to their new surroundings?
Any suggestions/advice most welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Trev.
