My cat Sambo that ran away 2 months ago is home!!! Yipppee!!!
He came knocking on the front door this morning like he always did
when he wanted back inside.
I can't believe how healthy he looks, his coat is so ****ny, and he
looks like he has been eating well. I am just amazed I think somebody
must have taken him in.
Last summer the vet told me he had renal failure, He never really
acted sick though other than he peed a lot and would forget to use the
litter box from time to time.
Last fall he got out and got into a terrible fight with another cat.
He had a bad abscess at the base of his tail which required surgery.
We had thought about putting him down because with the diagnosis of
renal failure we did not know if he would survive. He had the surgery
and did just fine and he spent 2 weeks locked up in a bedroom away
from the other cats and had to wear a cone head.
I am now skeptical about the vets diagnonis of renal failure.
I am thinking about taking him back to a vet for check up after this
whole ordeal.
