Keeping your cat indoors at night would be a good start. You would need
to
confine your cat indoors for a week or more so that it gets the message
where its home is. A collar with your phone number so that it does not
get
fed by the neighbours (I have heard of a cat being fed by three households
each believing that they were the cats owners).
And de*** your cat. Roaming cats, along with misplaced strays and the
one
that go feral create a pest and are a nuisance
to the neighbourhood.
