Still recall a crack by one Captain Johnson (a sealing ****p commander)
many years ago on Front Page Challenge when the "higher purpose
persons" on the panel disputed the proposition the seals were partly
responsible for depletion of the cod stocks.
Quoth the Captain: " I've spent most of my life at sea and, as far as
I know, the seals aren't eating turnips".
