Well, I saw a horse one time grab a full grown man by his stomach and
fling
him like used tissue paper up against the opposite wall that was a good 12
feet away. And I do mean the poor guy landed about halfway up the wall
with
a resounding splat, and slid to the floor in an unconscious heap.
I don't think 10 pounds would be a problem.
Getting him to place it on a shelf might take some work, but it could be
done through training.
