Don't take this personally, but your first mistake was buying at a public
auction. Disease is known to run through those places like wildfire. In
the future, you might wish to get to know a few people raising goats and
buy
from them. It sounds like you want to buy young, raise, and then sell.
It
would be good to know a few families who raise goats to supply you with
new
goats twice a year.
As far as mouthsores etc. I have no idea. I just bought my first three
goats last Friday. It's all I can do to milk the two older ones twice a
day. It's quite the hassle, but I have built a stanchion for them for
milking, which seems to help somewhat. I give them feed while I milk
them.
The milk is delicious by the way.
