In the 21st century, animal sentience and its implications for human
activity presents both practical and intellectual challenges to
scientists, industries, educationalists, conservationists, regulators
and policymakers.
Hosted by Compassion in World Farming Trust, a well-respected
international NGO, this conference will be a meeting-ground for world
experts in these fields to debate the science of animal sentience and
the responses to it that will need to be made in the decades ahead.
