The Goober could never make it as a real pet though,
since the first time he got the chance he'd end up
outstupiding himself and get hit by a car, or bite into
an electric chord, or eat something that would poison
him or something like that, and if he ended up in a
shelter he would no doubt be the first one "down".
Goo would probably enjoy being an animal as long as
it lasted though, spending all day licking his ball and
sticking his nose up as many assholes as possible...
come to think of it the Goober probably envies dogs
quite a lot for those very reasons. Maybe one reason
Goo doesn't consider life to be a benefit is because
of his frustration at not being able to sniff everybody's
asshole the way dogs "get to" do.
