We have a cat who came to us from a city pound. She is maybe 5 years
old, healthy, very calm cat and friendly. They found her wandering
the city and no one claimed her. She has a tattoo--but it is not an
ID number, and no chip was detected at the tattoo site. It's on her
lower belly and I have not gotten a good look, but the vet at animal
control (who saw it while he was checking whether she'd been fixed)
re****ts that it is just the symbol 'female'-- ie O+, if that makes
sense.
He didn't know why she would have it. Any theories?
