Hello,
I have a strictly indoor cat and she's been an only pet for her 3
years of life. I'm moving in with my fiancé in a couple of months and I
wanted some tips to help with the transition since he has a dog. The dog,
Daisy, is very calm and is a great dog. Daisy has been around cats as my
fiancé's parents has cats. Well, Daisy came to visit my cat,
Butterscotch,
a couple of times. Butterscotch didn't like it too well and stayed away
for
the most part. She hissed a couple of times but after an hour or so they
were sitting looking at each other and not doing anything. Luckily, Daisy
doesn't try to attack or anything. Buterscotch is quite the little pistol
though. I'm more worried about Butterscotch doing the attacking! So, any
tips would be appreciated! Also, my fiancé has a small son who is 1 1/2.
I'm concerned about the cat and the baby. Is there any tips you have for
that? Butterscotch likes her run of my apartment. She is very apt at
opening doors and climbing up to the top of pretty much everything,
including the refrigerator. I know it's probably too late to curb such
behaviors as I tried to stop her from getting on the dining room table
when
I first got her, but any tips on training her for the new place would be
great!
Beth
